WHAT WE MAKE

Bat Types We Produce

A single QC process runs across four bat families, so a brand can launch a full range without splitting the order across suppliers. For multi-category orders see our custom sports equipment OEM/ODM programme.

Wood Bats (Maple / Ash / Birch)

Billet-graded turning stock, sorted for grain orientation and moisture before turning. Standard models from youth length up to adult 34 inch profiles, with cupped or solid end, and your choice of taper and knob shape.

Alloy & Composite Bats

Aluminum alloy and composite constructions for training and recreational ranges, with tuned weight distribution so a -3 to -13 drop programme can be built from a single platform.

Finish, Graphics & Branding

Paint, clear coat, wood-grain finishing, pad printing, water transfer and laser engraving — barrel, taper and handle branding applied consistently across reorders, so colour batches stay stable.

Private Label & Packaging

Your logo, colour box, hang tag, barcode, instruction sheet and carton markings, produced as a ready-to-sell SKU rather than a loose bat in a plain carton.

WHAT YOU SPECIFY

Where Each Decision Lands on the Bat

Every quote comes back to the same six zones. Point at one and tell us what to change — the rest stays as your approved spec.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS

What You Can Specify on a Bat

Anything on this list can be fixed in the spec sheet before sampling. Anything not on it is quoted and confirmed in writing rather than assumed.

Length, Weight & Drop

Typical programme range: 28-34 inch length, with weight and drop matched to your target player group. Each bat is weighed and drop-checked against the spec sheet before packing.

Barrel & Handle Profile

Barrel diameter, taper length, handle thickness, knob shape and end treatment (solid or cupped) — the profile is what makes a bat feel like your bat, and it is the first thing we lock in sampling.

Material & Billet Grade

Maple, ash, birch or alloy, with billet grade agreed up front. Wood is sorted and moisture-treated before turning; grain-failure batts are screened out at inspection rather than shipped.

Finish & Graphics

Paint, clear coat, two-tone barrels, wood-grain looks, pad printing, water-transfer decals and laser engraving — including player-name and number personalisation for team orders.

Grip, Knob & End Cap

Grip tape colour, thickness and feel, plus knob and end-cap treatments. Standard and private-mould hardware can both be quoted, with tooling cost stated separately.

Packaging & Retail Ready

Colour box, hang tag, sleeve, barcode, care label and master carton markings. We can also pack mixed models into one carton for a dealer assortment order.

After Approval
QUALITY CONTROL

What We Check Before a Bat Ships

No certification bodies are claimed here — these are the checkpoints we run on every production lot.

Billet & Grain Screening

Wood billets are sorted by grade and grain before turning; off-grade billets are pulled out at this stage, not after finishing.

Weight, Drop & Balance

Every bat is weighed and drop-checked against the approved spec sheet, and balance point is sampled per lot.

Finish & Branding Check

Colour match against the approved standard, print position, engraving depth and edge quality are checked before packing.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

AQL based final inspection against the approved sample, with photos and an inspection record issued before the shipment is released.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Built for Brand, Club and Distributor Programmes

Typical programmes we quote are small enough to start and structured enough to scale.

Programme Types

Brand launch · Team order · Distributor range

A new brand launching two or three bat models, a club ordering matched team bats with names and numbers, or a distributor building a full length-and-drop range under one private label. For stock ranges and mixed-container buying, see the bulk wholesale programme. Detailed references are shared one-to-one by your account manager, under NDA where required.

FAQ

Baseball Bat Manufacturing FAQs

Are you a baseball bat manufacturer or a trading company?

ZORVEX SPORTS produces baseball bats as a manufacturer: tooling, sampling and bulk production are scheduled by one project team, and we supply brands, clubs, distributors and importers directly.

Which wood species and materials can you produce?

Standard production covers maple, ash and birch wood bats, plus aluminum alloy and composite models. Billet grade, grain orientation and moisture treatment are agreed per model before sampling, and you can mix materials across a single order.

What is the MOQ for custom baseball bats?

Standard MOQ is 50 pieces for baseball bats (indicative, confirmed in writing on the quotation). Mixed models and mixed sizes can be combined in one production run within the same finishing setup; orders below MOQ are negotiable after we evaluate sampling cost and setup amortization.

Can we customize length, weight drop, barrel and graphics?

Yes. Length, weight, drop, barrel and handle profile, knob and end cap, grip tape, paint, clear coat and laser engraving are all customizable. Send your spec sheet or reference sample and we quote against it; anything not on the sheet is confirmed in writing before sampling.

How long do samples and mass production take?

Sampling takes 7-15 days and standard mass production takes 30-45 days, depending on customization complexity and order volume. A written delivery schedule is issued before the order is confirmed, and sampling fees are deducted from the first batch once MOQ is reached.

Do you sign an NDA and protect our designs?

Yes. We sign mutual NDAs, store client drawings, color schemes and packaging files in a separate project space, and do not reuse a client's exclusive design for other customers.
